On February 15, 2013 my baby brother passed away from an epileptic seizure just 13 days shy of his 21st birthday. He was an amazing athlete, master in Tae Kwon Do and loved competitions. A year after that horrible day I decided to stop feeling sorry for my self and start honoring him; he never let epilepsy rule his life. I remembered him taking me for a run (I walked he ran) and most of all I remember how happy he was after each run so I did 2 things: I got a tattoo on my wrist in his honor and I started running/racing. I feel him next to me every time I run. What started as a mental healing process has also done wonders for my health. I have now lost over 50 pounds. I am a runner and I run in remembrance of my amazing baby brother Timi.
